History:
Beechcraft D18 is one of the most remarkable aircraft of civil and military transport conceived before the second world war. The prototype makes his first ones attempt in flight at the beginning of 1937.

It was a completely metal plane with low wing and train escamotable, propelled by 2 engines Wright of 320Ch. His success was immediate and it was produced in several versions with different motorizations. He was also equipped with ballcocks and even with skis to be used from the most different regions.

The army also commanded several types of Beech 18 with : glazed nose - dorsal turret - cameras - etc., these planes were baptized "C45 Expéditor". They were also of use for the forming to the bombardment.
